In this post we will go over the basics of a clarinet. The Clarinet is a woodwind instrument. We will go through the anatomy of a clarinet. We will go from top to bottom starting at the mouthpiece.
First is the mouthpiece followed by the Ligature.
Then is the barrel.
On the upper section of the clarinet are some keys and tone hole rings.
Connecting the upper section to the lower section is the bridge key.
Side note: It is important to note that when connecting the upper section to the lower section through the bridge key, you have to do it very patiently and soft or else the bridge key will bend thus causing a leak.
Followed by more tone rings and keys. and finally the bell.
