Because looking good is important too.
It’s Great! I was actually looking forward to hooking up with a Music Teacher near me and planning to start lessons in January, 2023! Unfortunately, my Cardiologist cautioned me that this is not in my best interest, given my heart condition and long-term prognosis. I’m disappointed to say the least but He is my physician and unfortunately, this aspiration is no longer within my reach…
I haven’t played an alto since I was in my teens.I owned a Martin at that time Many considered that to be a better horn than a Selmer This student Jean Paul literally blows the others in the weeds. I can only imagine what the pro model is like.Regardless of cost, this is an outstanding instrument. I am looking forward to trying the new pro Tenor
i'm very pleased with my new sax. it's great now if i could only play better.
The Alto As 400 is the most Amazing Alto Saxophone with Such a Rich Beautiful in Tune Sound. Just ask Jean Paul for my Phone Number and I will gladly rave about it to You. It's my way of saying Thank So Much to Jean Paul. I just can't stop playing it. Love it Love it Love it.
Bought this after renting a Selmer for a few months for a beginning band student. After receiving the JP and comparing it to our rented Selmer sax, I had a few questions. I sent an email to the company but did not receive a response. Our JP seems to be missing a neck screw, and I sent pictures of what I received but did not receive an answer from the company.
Other than customer service....To my non-expert ears, the JP sax sounds good. It does not sound as "pure" as the Selmer, but I expected there to be a difference between a $600 student sax and a $1500 instrument. It was packaged carefully and in beautiful condition except for the neck screw issue.
