I got a 2.0, not a 2.5, which is better for me as I'm a beginner. The reed arrived without any signs of damage and works perfectly with the Jean Paul AS-400.
Exceptional instrument at a great price. The B-stock options offer the same quality product with additional savings. The saxophone plays beautifully right out of the box. The employees are quick to answer questions and offer help in any way. Great company, great product, I’ll be purchasing from JP again.
I've owned 5 or 6 sopranos, straight and curved, very old and brand new. This one is really fun to play. Tuning is consistent over the full range, the action is responsive, and the tone is warm. It looks great, and the play-test video prepared by the head technician was a remarkable bit of customer service. I received the instrument quickly in perfect condition.
My previous instruments were nice to have in a big band setting, where doubles are needed, but I rarely played them just for fun. That's all going to change! Got some smiles and nods when I brought this to a recent small-group session.
Much better finish, mechanics, and sound than my previous Mendini from Amazon.

Out the box, plays great. Tone, feel, keys and mouthpiece no complaints. I am the one needs some tuning up going between alto and soprano is a steep learning curve.
Highly recommend this soprano.

As I said in reviews of my AS 400 I had stopped playing almost 30 yrs ago so I had wanted to start back slowly with as inexpensively as possible without sacrificing quality and performance
The AS 400 fit this bill and exceeded it in both cases
It’s easy to get and stay motivated if your using a good piece of equipment.
So I found myself back in the zone with the quality AS 400 (note that the many video reviews are clearly honest)
Jumped ahead and just got my AS 860 delivers 2 days ago and this is a beautiful horn too and it again exceeds expectations
I don’t know much about AI but if I can figure out how to put my head on the video of Mario running through the octaves at lightning speed I’ll send to my Academy buddies and claim his talent

Alto sax came ready to play right out of the box. I especially like the table key layout which was always a bit hard for me to reach. No problem with this instrument. Great sound no matter which mouthpiece I use.
It is exactly what I needed! It works on curved sopranos as well as other parts of saxophones. I got it quick as well...
This music stand is very flimsy and unsturdy. While trying to hold my method book and sheet music it tips over and collapses suddenly. I have found better music stands for this price in different places
Looks good, son loves it and it arrived a day earlier than expected. The only issue I can see with this transaction thus far is that they leave it at your door in the actual box the trumpet comes in, which advertises to the world what's inside. So you really want to make sure to watch for delivery.

I thought it might be handy to have access to a small stand that would have some portability.
This stand came today and I am honestly shocked by this particular product
I honestly had what I thought was a realistic expectation for a $20.00 dollar device.
It’s hard to believe that $20.00 could possibly get me such a well designed and sturdy stand but it did,
It opens and folds up with ease AND you don’t have to struggle to get it in and out of the very convenient carrying bag

As was the case with my first 2 Jean Paul’s Mario and his staff delivered a horn in perfect tune and condition ready to go,
Yes the curved Soprano is tiny the the projection and tone are huge and rich.
After communicating with these folks and playing their horns it’s easy to see why the entire staff at JP are so proud of their offerings.
Jen says if she sees a baritone come through the door she will send me off to the Enchanted Kingdom

My daughter has been playing trumpet in fifth grade and using her beginner trumpet all through high school. Now she’s off to college and is going to continue playing so I needed to upgrade her. The instrument came quickly and is beautiful and my daughter was almost more impressed with the case how nice it was. All in all the company very professional and provides an exceptionally nice product in every review I could find on YouTube was excellent so I know this was a great choice.
