We manufacture all of our instruments in China. Wind instruments made in China have gotten a bad rap. The reality is there are great instruments (like ours) coming out of China now.
Our instruments are solid, play in tune, and are fully serviceable.

from 1636 reviewsI bought the CS660 Curved Soprano Saxophone last December 2025. The horn was delivered earlier than expected. I tried the horn twice and there’s a problem in the octave and middle octave key. I contacted the customer care service and they responded quickly. I send them a video of the problem and told me to bring it to a local service center. I emailed them back and said that I don’t want to bring it to the local store because they might break it rather than fix it. So Tim is so helpful and told me that he will send me another horn. Tim have the new horn set up properly and send me a play test video of the horn before mailing it to me. They really care for their customer. Special thanks to Tim. The horn plays really well and easy to blow from the lowest key all the way to highest F#. I absolutely recommend this horn and Jean Paul Warehouse Store. Thank you to Mario as well.

I accidentally misplaced the neck of my Curved Soprano after a gig. I noticed on the Jean Paul site that they carry a spare parts inventory. I contacted customer support and after very helpful communications they were able to replace the neck for me. The neck was promptly dispatched, safely packed for its journey across the Atlantic to Edinburgh, Scotland. Great customer service and I can continue to get enjoyment out of my Jean Paul Soprano Sax.
Tim delivered absolutely phenomenal customer service from start to finish. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel personal and effortless. That level of care really set the tone for how much I enjoy this instrument. The on‑time delivery was the final touch that made the whole experience even better.
The saxophone itself is outstanding. The keys are soft, gentle, and incredibly responsive—playing higher notes takes almost no pressure, and the low notes speak just as easily. The tone is naturally bright, yet it adapts beautifully depending on the mouthpiece I use. The Florida State 10th Anniversary etching is a gorgeous detail, and the instrument is surprisingly lightweight, making longer sessions an absolute joy. I’m genuinely delighted to be the proud owner of this curved angel.
A few areas could be improved. The case is still the old‑fashioned rectangular style, and a more modern, ergonomic design would make a big difference. Including a laminated fingering chart would be a thoughtful addition for quick reference. The neck strap was the biggest disappointment—it felt like the poorest‑quality item in the entire package, especially compared to how premium the saxophone itself feels.
Even with those small areas for improvement, I absolutely love this new model and strongly recommend owning one—or at least giving it serious consideration before paying more for other brands. I enjoy every minute I spend playing it, and it has quickly become my favorite instrument to pick up regularly through the week.
The quality of product amazing!
I’m a 48 year old guy who’s trying to get back to trumpet more than 30 years after I played in the school band. Some time ago I bought a used pocket trumpet and started blowing it. At some point, I felt like I needed a better trumpet to keep me engaged with my practice. I read many reviews saying Jean Paul is a great instrument and decided to go for it. It’s been a little time that I’ve been playing with it, but I can say 100% sure I’m very happy with the product quality and sound. Their customer service is really amazing. Thanks JP!!

My sister has been playing flute for 50 years but had gotten out of the habit. I got her an intermediate flute from Jean Paul for Christmas to replace her 30 year old student flute and she was delighted. I’m thoroughly happy with my AS400 saxophone. As a beginner, I’m genuinely impressed by the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of my instrument. Finally, I had a few questions, so I reached out to the customer service department. They were incredibly helpful and promptly returned my call, which left me quite impressed.
I don't know much about flutes, but my daughter loves it and says that it plays beautifully. As of this moment, there have been no issues with it. She is in her 4th year of playing.
