I have owned great clarinet mouthpieces in the past including a well known hand made one that cost significantly more but the ease of play and sound quality of this one is perfect for our grand daughter. Not having bought a clarinet for decades, I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of their instruments compared to my German made clarinet at a much higher price point today.

Jasmin L. This is my daughter’s first clarinet as she is beginning to learn to play the instrument. The instrument came fast, was well-packaged, and the carrying case is great. All parts looked pristine and the instrument comes together very well. Sound is rich. Three weeks in my daughter likes it a lot and is having fun learning to play.

Alan D.W. Years ago, about 65 actually, I played the clarinet. Life went on, and so did my clarinet. Wanting to make music, I borrowed an instrument from the local hobbyist band ... pretty beat up and not great playing, but was enough to convince me to buy my own clarinet.
Tim in Customer Support was great help in deciding CL-350 vs CL-400. I decided to get the CL-350 with the mouthpiece and ligature used in the 400. Quick delivery, and it's all I expected of the clarinet.
My embouchure needs help, but I'm working at it daily, and the 350 from JP surly makes me sound better than I should after the long break. I'm glad to recommend the CL-350 as a suitable choice to keep for the long term. You'll be happy with it. :)

Evan B. I love this mouthpiece. A good mouthpiece should feel like it is enabling you to do whatever you want. This mouthpiece has a nice broad sound with a straight tone!
