The Rigotti Gold Jazz is a longer-vamp reed filed by hand in Lyon, France, from Camargue cane Rigotti has sourced for three generations. The extended vamp gives the tip more flexibility, which means the reed responds at low dynamics and scales up without stiffening. The Jazz cut plays warmer and more open than the Classic, with a round core and a soft top end that blends well in small combo and studio settings.
