I got so excited when I came back from work and I saw the small long box, waiting for me. I gave the flute a name, "Journey", and it's a she! She will go on a "journey" with me. Believe it or not, I am 54 years old, a breast cancer survivor that is just in love with the flute. I am a true beginner and I am excited. This Jean Paul flute is PERFECT! I am so happy that I chose Jean Paul!

I was skeptical of being able to make a decent sound, but was able to rather quickly with this flute! Off & on, of course. I’m a beginner and don’t know much, but so far it seems like a good one for a beginner! I’m happy with my purchase.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Good flute, no complaints, and the directions for cleaning were helpful. Also a fingering chart came with it and know I know how to play some of the notes. Glory to God. God bless jean paul and all of you :)

I am happy so far with the receipt of my flute. Everything seems to be in working order. I appreciated your quick delivery. The packaging was great. The flute looks great. My only beef was with sending in the warranty. I filled out the form with order #, date of purchase and that I bought it directly from Jean Paul on-line. It then asked to upload a copy of the receipt. A lot of us seniors don't know how to do this. All the info was on the warranty form and I bought it from you so I don't know why you needed it uploaded. I finally got someone to help me do it but it was a pain. Just wanted to voice my opinion but everything else was great. Sincerely, Don M.

The trill keys were frozen with rust and I had leaks in the right and left hand system keys, as well as in the flute joints as well. We went to Music Tech and Carlos Arango fixed it for us for no charge. Now it is working amazing again!

The first flute I received did not play right with one of the keys not closing completely making several notes unplayable. I received a quick replacement which was great! The new flute arrived and played wonderfully for the first 2.weeks. I have since needed to take it to a local repair person 2 times for the same issue with the same key not closing properly making it impossible to play several notes. Being that she uses her flute everyday for band at school this had been a huge inconvenience. I am disappointed with this instrument overall but unfortunately we are outside the 30 day return period....

I recently purchased a flute from Jean Paul, model FL-220. I am a totally new beginner and have played violin and piano before but had no knowledge of flutes. This is an excellent flute for a
beginner. It is very well made, and plays very easily. Being so new to flutes, I've had several
questions. Tim Zenderman, from the Jean Paul customer support has been so very helpful.
I couldn't ask for better customer service. I would definitely recommend this flute and this company.

You would think that with the lower price that the tone wouldnt be as good but it played nearly as good as the armstrong flute my mom owns that was nearly 2 thousand dollars

I absolutely LOVE my new student flute!!
It is perfect for me, & it is BEAUTIFUL!! The awesome, deluxe case that came with it is amazing & very easy to carry (a strap...perfect for me, as I use a cane, & I don't have an extra hand).
{When the Wells Fargo Man brought Winthrop (Ron Howard) his "beautful, shiny gold thing" - he was over-the-moon EXCITED about it. ("The Music Man").
(When the UPS Man brought me "my new shiny SILVER thing", I was equally excited!!)
I have been playing an old, used student flute, for 20 years now. (Just for myself,,,, my music reading skills are pretty bad, and I like to play by ear, and it is totally therapeutic! I can play much better on this new one;,, it is fabulous, as well as BEAUTIFUL!!!😀😀🤣

I'm an older adult who took up paying flute in the last year or so because I listen to a lot of Northern Indian music, especially flute music.
I bought a Bansuri (Northern India bamboo flute) and found that I love playing a flute.....so my next step was to get a Western Concert Flute to be able to play classical music and Jazz.
I really like my Jean Paul flute, it seems very well made which is particularly important to me because I do a lot of hiking and take my flute(s) with me.
To me the sound quality is wonderful.......I'm not musically trained, I just like playing music and improvising, mainly for self enjoyment and meditation.
