The horn is beautiful and the valves are so smooth. I just love it’s sound.

Unfortunately I never got the chance to use the JP mouthpiece I received. The sax I purchased new was returned for a refund due to unresponsive keys. Once I
replace the returned sax, I will look forward using the JP.

This is my first time ever playing the sax, so I researched tons of saxophones. When I came across Jean Paul, I knew it was the sax I wanted to buy. This saxophone is beautiful and it plays very well! I thought the price and everything that comes with it was great for a complete beginner. Highly recommend buying it!

Got the sax and didn’t stop playing for a week, the quality of the horn made it so fun to play and everything about it looks and feels amazing.

Let me start with my story. I learned to play sax when I was in elementary school on a C Melody Tenor Sax loaned to me by the music teacher. I played that sax in marching, jazz and orchestra for 7 years and returned it upon my graduation. I always wanted to have my own but something always got in the way. Jump forward to today - 54 years later. I now own a Jean Paul Student Tenor Sax and I LOVE IT! I forgot a lot about playing sax but am amazed at how much came flooding back. Out of the box, this sax was ready to play. It's a beautiful instrument to look at, it has great tone and it's fun to play. I'm not as good as I was when I was 17 but as someone once said- practice, practice practice. I did buy a better mouthpiece and a different neck strap plus a few other add-ons - cleaning cloths, pads to protect the mouthpiece from tooth bites, etc. Spend a few dollars more now and save a lot on pad replacement, etc. later. At my age (72 years old!) I will never play in a band but I play for my own enjoyment. Customer service was great to deal with and responded to my questions in a reasonable amount of time.

amazing saxophone works great. Mine missed a pad but its very very small and doesnt affect the playing of my sax so its fine. Even if something big did happen Jean paul has good costumer service so im not worried

I absolutely love my new tenor sax! For the price range, I just don't see that this instrument can be beat! I also love that Jean Paul sends a video of the instrument being played by a pro to show you how well it is set up and sounds! Awesome sax!!!

I have owned the Jean Paul 400 and 600 trombones and they both are good horns that punch much higher in quality than the price point that they are sold at. These horns are exceptional values for the beginner and intermediate trombonists.

Furthermore, I must say that when you buy from The Jean Paul Company , you are dealing with a reputable company that stands behind their merchandise and is really concerned with customer satisfaction . Recently ,I had a problem with one of my horns and it was immediately corrected without any fuss by Tim Zenderman, their knowledgeable staff representative.

What more can I say? Now, I was able to quickly return to the more serious issues of orchestral trombone performance without being hindered by technical instrument problems.

I got this horn expecting nothing bad after have been playing their student alto for a year now, and it’s amazing. Key action is smooth, and the sound is very warm and powerful, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a tenor for cheaper than most other company’s.
