Before purchasing this instrument I read some reviews which set my expectations. And now that I got it, I can say it was delivered just as advertised and to my satisfaction. I hope to reach some level of proficiency playing this instrument.
This is the perfect trumpet for any beginner. It sounds great and we honestly can’t tell much difference between it and the $1700 Yamahas in the room. It has everything a middle schooler could ask for when just starting out. Zero regrets here. Money well and wisely spent.
Been playing it for nearly a year now(i forgot to ever leave a review) and it’s performance is great. Not sure if I have ever had a sticky key, and it came assembled beautifully. I wish it cane with better swabs. The cloth is great at getting fingerprints off.
She’s wanted a sax for a for years, once we learned about this brand and learned more about it from YT, Reddit, etc, we decided to give it a shot. She loves it.
Everything I've bought from Jean Paul as far as saxophones go has been nothing but a great experience. I tend to like their student / intermediate models more so than the pro models just out of my own personal preference. They are big and resonant-sounding horns. Even better than Keilwerths, in my honest but humble opinion. When you pick up a student horn like this and it feels alive under the fingers and vibrates in your hands you know you have a professional grade instrument. This is a horn I cannot put down. You can never go wrong buying one of these saxophones. As a company these folks are some of the best. Carlos, Tim...Enrique.. so many many more I'm sure that I'm missing. This is the best saxophone for the money. And I say this without reluctance- they all play any Yamaha on the market. Again that's my honest and humble opinion. Their professional model saxophones are also very good and can rival any Selmer. My only complaint is that I would like to see more engraving on the student models. Even if there were an up charge. Other than that I can't be happier. When I play I sound like me. And that's the goal. To sound like yourself! And you can do it with a Jean Paul!
