Was told that ordering one of the big name brand instruments would take six months because of supply chains. Also had a bit of sticker shock. So after a lot of research and testing out a few other more reasonable and available models, I decided based on so many positive feedback and reviews to give this instrument a try. So happy to receive in good time, in good shape and very happy with the sound. My musician reports that the lower registers are full sounding and easy to hit with clarity. He has to refine his technique on the highest notes versus the big name instrument he's been using at school. Overall very satisfied with a well designed and attractive instrument and case that puts great sound in reach of me on a budget.
Ooooohhhhhhhh woww. Amazing Saxophone. Very Saxy sounds. The stock mouthpiece fit very well in my mouth. The reeds provided worked very well. Although, overtime, you might wanna look into buying some other reeds. Overall, this instrument was worth the price.
Horn shipped with a key that was not aligned on the post properly. 2 days later a replacement was shipped. Overall great sounding Saxophone and great service
one of if not the best clarinets i have played! and cheap also!
I played a Getzen Severensen model trumpet (the only silver trumpet in the Band) throughout high school in both a marching band and the orchestra as first trumpet. At 18, I sold my trumpet when I joined the Navy and hadn’t picked one up in nearly 50 years until I saw and bought a used Tri-Star in a pawn shop last October. Once my embouchure and endurance came back, I researched many trumpet models, including the infamous Vincent Bach (pricy). I chose the JP TR-430 because of the great reviews and realized I made the right decision.
I purchased the TS-400 Tenor. I was a bit scared buying something online without trying it out, but that disappeared as soon as I took it out and played it. I did opt for the TS-4 upgrade mouthpiece and I highly recommend it. It does make a difference. The stock Tenor comes with a 2.0 reed and I switched to a 2.5 and the horn came alive! It is a beautiful instrument and well worth the purchase.
I love it!!!
This has got to be the best intermediate horn I've ever played. It's comparable to the Bach Stradavarious 32 ML, no over exaggeration
Low notes come out flush. Sounds really good for the price. Will be keeping this for a long long time.
I have been wanting to get back into sax for a while. I haven't touched a sax in over 25 years. I took the silver alto out of the case, wetted the reed, and felt right at home in this outfit. Everything came back and i was only restricted by my unexercized embouchure. I have been playing daily since opening the sax and I love it.
Very nice quality instrument!
My silver-plated alto is everything I hoped for --and more!
Love the looks and the sound!
A long time musician of Guitar and Violin thought I would try SAX as I love the sound. Got a Selmer AS300 loaned to me from church member and I was hooked. Wanted my own Sax so I found one in like new condition from a PRO player who had it as a back up while his 1931 transitional was being rebuilt. What a SAX sounds great and is in good intonation across the rang as far as I can tell. Solid great looking Horn only had to make a few adjustments on key height and one spring had come loose. After the fix I was very happy with the way it played easier than the Selmer as300 and better sound. I am a new Player and enjoy owning both Saxophones as the Selmer was given to me after I bought the Jean Paul. Great Sax for the price can not find better under 700 800 dollars. Plays like a Sax much more costly. The reviews are very good for the Jean Paul AS400. I can see why!
I love my Silver Pro Model Soprano Saxophone. This is my third horn from Jean Paul and the Tenor will complete my family. Great horns and excellent service from Tim and the team.
