After years and years away from playing, I wanted back into my music but my former horn had long since been sold. I wanted a quality tenor without breaking the bank; after much research decided upon the Jean Paul TS-400. Right off the bat I was impressed; horn came in its own protective box placed inside the shipping box. And the case - wow - is beyond top-grade! I can see how much care went into protecting the horn and this case more than assures that. The horn itself is subtly but beautifully detailed, not overwhelming, but very attractive. I was able to play right out of the case, but after so many years away from playing, as expected, am working on embouchure and breath control. I take very good care of my horn - it deserves this as it's providing me with so much pleasure. For quality and affordability, you can't go wrong here.

delivery was quick. case is solid. wheel was smooth but not as durable as my expected, because it got scratch dense easily. Only one height for the handle.

Excellent service

Recently I ordered a new Jean Paul Deluxe Alto Saxophone case to put my vintage Selmer Mark VI saxophone in. The Selmer’s original case was showing its age and I needed a good case that would provide good protection for my Mark VI. I had recently bought the Jean Paul AS-860 10 year anniversary model alto saxophone for my granddaughter to play and I was very impressed with the horn and the case was very good and well made with plenty of padding and it fit the Selmer perfectly. This is a rectangular shape case with lots of padding which I prefer to some of the very light molded and shaped cases look like a Bam style case. This is an old school type case with lots of protection for your horn but still quite light and made with modern materials with plenty of storage and zippered compartments and shoulder straps along with carry handles. They also carry a similar case which is a little smaller and compact but I highly recommend the bigger more padded case. Price was very reasonable.

The heavy mass neck screw from the TS860 was a perfect fit on my AS860. I think its a really good look and it makes adjustments very easy.

Absolutely love this saxophone, I’ve been playing it since it arrived! They sent me a personalized video of the actual instrument I would be receiving being played even addressing me by name and showing my shipping label. Professional responses to all of my questions and a super friendly staff. I adore their mission to provide quality instruments at an affordable price and will definitely be recommending Jean Paul in the future to anyone I can. 10/10 no complaints. I’d give 6 stars if I could.
