I’ve had the AS/400 for going on 4 weeks now. Currently it’s all good. Everything is still sealing properly. Nothing is broken It was set up properly. The only thing that was wrong is the read that was sent with. It was absolutely horrible but that happens. What can you do The one thing that I would say brought this down from five stars to four is there was no swab included with the base model I feel like there should always be at least a swab included. However, for the price very good saxophone. it was clear to me that they take pride in setting up their instruments and making sure that they play well which is something you don’t see in saxophones of this price range as a beginner that really frustrated me that even saxophones two or $300 more expensive than this wouldn’t play properly out the box. It’s clear that Jean Paul has great quality control, and the warranty that they provide with their instruments is a real piece of mind to a beginner like me.

I received my Alto Saxophone AS-400GP on Monday 10/30/2023 but the Octave Key does not work. I have left one voice message and called four times and I have not heard anything. I wrote up a Support email yesterday and nobody responded. Their Customer Service is lacking. I would appreciate it if the company gets in touch with me to resolve this issue

My 12yo son loves his new horn (purchased direct from JP), which fully works unlike his school issued one. He was able to play it with ease out of the box. He likes the spring action of the keys and the tone of the horn. Ran a leak light before playing and all checked out good! He uses the AS-4 mouthpiece exclusively. I just wish he would let me play it though, lol.

I bought from Jean Paul because they are in the US and I thought they would have done a better job with QC before shipping, because of reviews on youtube. Octave key had to be adjusted, keys are sticky (a little oil helps), key corks fell off and had to be glued back on, mouth piece cork leaks from between neck and mouthpiece. A rep did get back with me, but it's more about the quality I expected to receive. I don't want to have to ship it back for repair, it should have been done before shipping. At this point I could have bought a cheaper one and repaired it myself.

Spectacular saxophone and customer service.
The great quality of the AS 400 saxophone is incredible. Its construction materials and finishes are wonderful. The customer service area provides complete support at all times and are very friendly and efficient to resolve any problem that may arise. I hope to buy some of your excellent products again very soon.
