In general, the clarinet works well and has a nice tone (at least to a returning beginner like me). However, one issue is that the ligature keeps slipping down on the mouthpiece as I tighten the screws. It finally holds if I tighten the screws all the way and push it on over the reed. I notice that another reviewer said he/she replaced the mouthpiece and ligature.
This has been a great clarinet for my son! It’s easy for him to play, and it produces a nice sound. Great value!
I've had My CL-300 since I was in second grade (im in 7th now) and it has been doing really well and it still plays the same like it did 5 years ago would recommend to beginners :)
My grandson loves his clarinet! He told me to rate it 4 stars only because the case is a little small.
