My name is Gerry Barrow and I live in Trinidad. I recently purchased a Jean Paul tenor saxophone. I am an amateur musician and have been teaching myself on a Selmer alto for the past year. I decided it was time to move down to an alto, but, being on pension, couldn't afford any of the professional big name models. I took a chance on the Jean Paul due to its modest cost, excellent reviews and my satisfaction with my Jean Paul trumpet which sounds as good as my Bach. I was blown away with the beauty of the instrument.
It was loud and harsh with the supplied mouthpiece and reed, but the sound mellowed with a Yamaha 4C mouth piece and a Legende synthetic reed. I had no problem with the low notes, which was a concern. I am enjoying playing it so much I hardly use my alto. Take 5 sounds like the original. I would sleep with it but my wife doesn't tolerate my dog or sax on the bed. Thank you so much for the personal attention you give to your products. I see no reason why it won't last a lifetime.

I had an issue with the original key roller. Felipe at Jean Paul was my service advisor and was outstanding. He quickly sent a replacement and got me on my way. I am truly impressed with the company and their dedication to customer support.

I recently posted a review noting the handles on the case were defective. After contacting the company, they promptly sent out an UPGRADED model than the one that comes standard with the trumpet and a return tag for me to return the defective case. Excellent customer service and I’m very satisfied with the entire purchase.

I purchased an instrument that appeared to be damaged from shipping. I contacted the store and they responded quickly and replaced the order within a few days! This is my second saxophone from Jean Paul and I recommend them to anyone looking for a quality instrument with good customer service to back it up.
