the ligature is a very weak spot and broke on day 5
Years ago, about 65 actually, I played the clarinet. Life went on, and so did my clarinet. Wanting to make music, I borrowed an instrument from the local hobbyist band ... pretty beat up and not great playing, but was enough to convince me to buy my own clarinet.
Tim in Customer Support was great help in deciding CL-350 vs CL-400. I decided to get the CL-350 with the mouthpiece and ligature used in the 400. Quick delivery, and it's all I expected of the clarinet.
My embouchure needs help, but I'm working at it daily, and the 350 from JP surly makes me sound better than I should after the long break. I'm glad to recommend the CL-350 as a suitable choice to keep for the long term. You'll be happy with it. :)
one of if not the best clarinets i have played! and cheap also!
Purchased a clarinet from Jean Paul couple weeks ago and could not be happier with the instrument and their service. Wonderful group of people to work with, excellent communication and follow up. This clarinet is well worth the price. I'd say it's equal to clarinets in a much higher price range. Plays well, sounds very good. Keys feels good, seal well. Looks and feels like a much higher level instrument. Comes with a very good case and starter kit. Would highly recommend this company and product.
We recently purchased a clarinet from you and my daughter is so happy. It's a great quality instrument. It's well made, the case is really nice and protective, came with a great starter kit and has beautiful sound. Couldn't believe the price for such good quality.
