Nice step up

Nice clarinet with some nice features. A comfortable adjustable thumb rest with a mount to use a neck strap. It would great if a low cost neck strap came with it but no big deal. Why a neck strap? the strap does help balance the right hand making finger placement less of a struggle. Plays well in tune. Good value! Bopalot Music

CL-350 clarinet is a good choice

Years ago, about 65 actually, I played the clarinet. Life went on, and so did my clarinet. Wanting to make music, I borrowed an instrument from the local hobbyist band ... pretty beat up and not great playing, but was enough to convince me to buy my own clarinet.

Tim in Customer Support was great help in deciding CL-350 vs CL-400. I decided to get the CL-350 with the mouthpiece and ligature used in the 400. Quick delivery, and it's all I expected of the clarinet.

My embouchure needs help, but I'm working at it daily, and the 350 from JP surly makes me sound better than I should after the long break. I'm glad to recommend the CL-350 as a suitable choice to keep for the long term. You'll be happy with it. :)
